Kensington Aldridge Academy (KAA) is a locally run, non-selective, co-educational state school for the local community in North Kensington. KAA opened in September 2014 in a brand new, state-of-the-art building purpose built to provide students with the best sports, technology and performing arts facilities.

KAA is recognised as one of the top academies in the UK. In 2017, Ofsted graded the school not only “outstanding” in all areas but “exceptional” and in 2018 it was awarded TES Secondary School of the Year. Exam results indicate that KAA is in the top 10% of schools in the UK in terms of the progress the students make.

The aim is to be not just an outstanding school, but also a centre of excellence in teaching and learning, both within the borough of Kensington & Chelsea and beyond. Teachers are given the time, training and management they need to become the best in their fields. KAA has taken advantage of the rare opportunity of creating a new school to design a first rate curriculum that prepares students for the demands of the new, strengthened national examination system. At KAA students receive a consistent diet of outstanding lessons, and extensive enrichment opportunities beyond that. The ‘deal’ they get is second to none.

KAA's school motto INTREPIDUS captures the spirit of entrepreneurial thinking that permeates teaching and the curriculum. Through Creates, students have the opportunity to try their hand at very real business, and experience the rich learning that comes from direct experience of entrepreneurship.

KAA has the following facilities that are potentially available to Creates business, subject to negotiation and enrichment activities run;
